Project involves 9 km of permanent access road from the existing JKR road to the power house, power intake, dam crest and boat landing area. The road is located in mountainous terrain transformers. The design alignment of the permanent access road was carried out with objective of minimising high cut and high fills slope areas. The investigation include geological mapping. The site which contain greywacke sandstone underlain with weak mudstone/shale. The design involved soil nail to strengthen the slope and guniting for erosion protection. |
