ACS was engaged by the Turnkey Contractor, MCHJV to undertake part of the design work for the main civil works component (value of works RM 1.75 Billion) of the Bakun Hydroelectric Project. The project involves a 205m high Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam (CFRD), 8 nos 315MW turbines housed in a surface power station at downstream toe of the dam. Four bays gated chute spillway on the left abutment, a large 8 bay power intake structure, 8 power tunnels, a low level outlet and access road. |

ACS carried out a preliminary engineering design, cost estimates and tender documentation of turnkey proposal for the Limbang Hydroelectric Project .Scope of engineering works consist of hydrology study, power potential study, geological study, preliminary engineering design of the 90m high RCC dam, power intake, penstock, power house with 3 Francis Turbines 187 MW capacity and two 11m diameter diversion tunnels. |

Rajdhani Hydropower Project is located at the downstream reaches of the Punch River in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. This is a Build Operate Transfer (BOT) project and the project sponsor is Iqbal Power Limited. Power output is 132 MW and Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) of Pakistan would purchase electric energy generated by the project. ACS was commissioned by IQBAL POWER Ltd to prepare and administer the turnkey contract tender documents whereby international contractor were invited to participate in the project. |
