ACS is the project consultant for Pahang River month Improvement works to reduce the sedimentation problems at the river mouth. ACS carried out options assessment study and detailed engineering design for navigational channel, breakwaters, jetty and fishery complex to ensure the sustainability of the navigational channel at all time. This includes coastal hydraulic study, design of breakwater structures, beach nourishment, infrastructures and river dredging works. Numerical models are used to model the offshore and near shore wave transformation, hydrodynamic modeling, environmental and shoreline evolution study |

The objectives of the study are to reduce risk of coastal erosion & coastal flooding, to assist in conservation of coastal environment, to assist in coastal land use planning, to assist Gov/ dept in making informed decisions and to improve & enhance quality of tourist beaches. |
